Is the studio still open during Covid-19?
Yes or No. Our studio class operation is depending on the Hong Kong government’s social distancing measures. Therefore, please refer to the latest government news and studio announcement on our web front page or emails that we send out.
In the case of studio closure by law, we will continue to provide Pilates classes through livestream. For more details please read “Online Classes” or “FAQ – Online Classes”
Who can attend a studio class if it’s available?
A person who has not travelled, nor has had close contact with e.g. family members you live with, or house maids have been travelling in the past 14 days.
A person who has not been in contact with anyone who has been diagnosed or suspected of contracting Covid-19 in the past 21 days.
If you have any symptoms of upper respiratory infection or a fever, please refrain from attending classes until you are cleared of all symptoms for at least 14 days.
What do I expect upon arrival to the studio?
All visitors, including staff, are required to keep their masks on at all times and will undergo a temperature check and be asked to declare their travel history in the past 14 days at reception.
What is the social distancing requirement?
Mats are placed no less than 1.5 meters apart. Please be mindful when you are not on the mat and be sure to keep your distance with others.
What are the sanitation measures taken?
Upon arrival, everyone must sanitise their hands with hand disinfectant and wash their hands with soap when the bathroom becomes available.
All mats and equipment must be cleaned after use and extra cleaning will be performed by our staff throughout the day. Head cushions will not be shared and will only be used once.
What about tactile feedback in class? Will I still be corrected?
Our instructors will minimize tactile cues, and if cueing is necessary, the instructors will sanitise their hands before and after giving tactile correction to each student.
Do I need to wear a mask during the class?
Yes. Please keep your mask on within the studio at all times.
What will happen to my package if I can’t come to class during Covid-19?
We encourage students to attend our online classes, so they can still make good use of their package. If you are holders of the previous version of packages or the current Pay as you go packages, the remaining class credits can be carried over to your next package upon expiry and the same credits roll over policies will apply. What is the class size during Covid-19?
Group class capacity is normally 10 people; semi-private class is 4 and private classes are between 1 to 3. However, during Covid-19, the maximum capacity will be adjusted to the current government social distancing measures. Please book your classes in advanced to ensure you secure your space in a smaller class capacity.
Should I bring my own equipment?
It is entirely up to you. We provide mats, head cushions and small equipment for each class and they are sanitized thoroughly after each session. At the same time, you are welcome to bring a mat, a towel, the ball if you prefer extra hygiene measures.
Can I take a shower at the studio?
Our shower facility will be temporary unavailable due to extra hygiene measures. Thank you for you understanding,
